Frequently Asked Questions - Some Technical FAQ's

Here you could find answers to some technical questions you may have.

For the IECP Room we recommend to use a flexible PVC insulated multi-strand copper wire of the size 10 AWG each for phase, neutral and ground wire. When using a 3 core cable instead of single conductors, we recommend a cable having 3 conductors of size 2.5mm diameter excluding the PVC shield.

Power rating of IECP
Voltage 415VAC (~10%), Three Phase / Four wire
Frequency 50Hz
Load 2.25 KW
Normal Current consumption per phase 6 Amp
Maximum Current consumption per phase 7.5 Amp

The ‘IECP' machine is warranted for a period of 12 months from the date of supply against any manufacturing defect excluding consumables like cuffs, ECG and Finger probes, pulse unit, glass wares, treatment cuffs, shock proof cables, which are conventionally not covered under this clause.

During the daily use of the IECP machine there are some things which will be required on regular basis, and are termed as consumables. These would include

• Set of Cuffs - a set of cuffs comprises of eight pieces and can be used for a long time until damaged. The replacement set costs a small amount which is available on request.
• Disposable ECG electrodes - Five of these will be required during each treatment and are easily available in market
• ECG Gel - A small amount of ECG gel is applied on the electrodes for getting effective ECG tracings.
• Treatment clothes - To receive the IECP therapy the patient is told to change into skin tight slack or aerobic shorts for effective treatment and reduce the chances of skin pinching due to usual loose clothing.

IECP’ machine manufactured by TeraMed can perform limited self servicing on its own periodically, thereby reducing user intervention. Apart from this the outdoor air charger unit requires to be serviced once in two months and can be easily done by any person, whom we are going to train. The cost involved in the maintenance of the air charger unit is not high.
